The last time I had an account at a bank (mid-1980s, they literally drained every dollar from it with fees. Every single dollar. I took the hint and moved to a credit union. Have not looked back. Clearly, the banks have gotten even worse in the intervening 25 years.

It's shocking that ANYONE, let alone union officials, would excuse this corrupt behavior. The law should be applied evenly to all citizens and not favor the friends and families of cops...even in NYC.

My heart goes out to him and others with similar disabilities, but most employers will not take him on due to the extensive hand holding required...and fear of litigation. When an employee does not grasp, much less follow, social norms, the employer bears the consequences.
